Impregnation

Company Ecosis Ltd offers impregnation in a bath of rot-proof timber, mold and eat wood. The impregnation process is important, as it achieves several very important effects:

Impregnation is a deep-penetrating coating, which contains biocides and nourishing oils, which prevent the appearance of wood pests. The perception is wrong, that impregnants affect wood already infested with pests. If there is doubt about this, preparations for already attacked wood are applied. Impregnants are then applied, which prevent further pest attack. They are usually of very low viscosity, so that they can penetrate deeply and are most easily applied with a brush, and in industry by spraying or in a bath. An important condition is that the wood is dry before its impregnation.
